Perlin Noise Tabletop

A custom tabletop design that incorporates Perlin noise to create organic, flowing patterns in the surface texture. Perlin noise is an algorithm for calculating “smoothed randomness”. It is often used for generating natural aesthetics in digital textures. Another application is for creating 3D terrains that can resemble topology. This tabletop design was generated procedurally and CNC’d out of 3” plywood.
