Designing Your Voice

Designing Your Voice is a 14 week curriculum that I developed to introduce key sound design concepts through the Teensy hardware development platform. The course is designed to introduce students to fundamental sound design techniques while intertwining hardware development skills with an emphasis on modular thinking, blending together three discrete disciplines: sound design, embedded audio programming, and modular hardware development. By the end of the class students develop custom hardware synthesizers based on the Teensy audio platform (or another of their choosing).
